Description/Taste
Red corn has a deep, maroon-red color and once cooked has a soft, firm texture. Individual corn kernels average about 1 centimeter in width and length. Dried Red corn can be rehydrated to add flavor to many stews, soups, and casseroles. The dried Red corn can also be ground and used for products such as corn meal, corn starch, masa harina, and corn flour that will have a red tint. Red corn can be baked, broiled, fried, or paired with spiced rice dishes.
