The Valencia orange when it has reached its peak of ripeness, has a golden orange outer skin that is smooth to the touch. The inner segments of the Valencia have a lighter orange hue and offers an extremely juicy consistency. A favorite among juicing oranges, the Valencia offer both sweet and acidic notes.
