La-Yu Hot Chili Oil is a Chinese chili oil made from the extract of select varieties of chili peppers. The oil boasts a pungent spiciness that is calmed by the addition of sesame oil. This sauce is traditionally used in Chinese cooking with dim sum, soups, and fried meats and vegetables, or in Japanese cooking with gyoza and ramen.
