Hiwa Kai is a Black Hawaiian sea salt that has a dark black color and smooth texture. This salt is also called Hawaiian Black Lava salt and is evaporated from the Pacific Ocean off the surrounding island of Molokai. It is then combined with activated charcoal, which adds to the salt’s natural flavor and many health benefits. Hiwi Kai salt offers a slightly smoky flavor and has a delicate texture.
