Description/Taste
Dried Red lentils are also referred to as Egyptian lentils. They are smaller than Plain or Green lentils and do not have an outer seed coat. The word lentil is derived from the Latin word "lens." Lentils are members of the legume family and provide a significant amount of magnesium and folate. Dried Red lentils are a great addition of color and flavor in soups, salads, curry and vegetable dishes.
