Description/Taste
A flat form of pasta somewhat like fettuccine and trenette, but narrow like spaghetti. Just a tad wider than spaghetti. Spaghetti most often is served with meat and tomato dishes; linguine most often accompanies seafood or pesto. In most recipes spaghetti and linguine are interchangeable. Name means "little tongues" in Italian.
