Herbs de Provence is a blend of dried herbs that are grown in the southeastern region of France, known as Provence. The basic herb mixture typically includes: rosemary, parsley, oregano, marjoram, tarragon and chives. This blend of herbs can be described as herbaceous, aromatic and floral. There can also be additional herbs such as lavender, basil or savory.
