Togo-Su Kurozu Vinegar is an Aged Artisan Amber Rice Vinegar that is brewed following a tradition dating back to the Edo period 200 years ago.
As the vinegar ages over an average period of two years, the color darkens, the flavors soften, and a subtle caramelization becomes present.
It is this aging process that sets this vinegar apart from traditional brown rice vinegars found throughout Japan.
