Description/Taste
Wonder Bread was one of the first pre-sliced loaves of bread commercially available and was named after the “wonder” that founder Elmer Cline experienced when watching hundreds of hot air balloons soar into the sky during the 1921 International Balloon Race. The soft, fluffy, and slightly chewy bread is made with enriched flour, which contains vitamins and minerals, and maintains its moist nature even when sliced. Wonder Bread has a mild, neutral flavor that can be paired with a wide variety of sweet and savory flavors, and sample uses include but are not limited to artisan toasts, breakfast dishes, sandwiches, and desserts.
