Weiser Family farms has been family operated since 1977, with multiple generations contributing to the success of the farm. The Weiser family tends farmland located in the Greater Bakersfield area, Tehachapi, and Lucerne Valley, allowing them to grow a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. Patty pan squash are small, 2-3 inches in diameter, with scalloped edges and a flattened, disc-like shape. Patty pan squash are very mild, with a buttery texture and clean, squash flavor. Patty pan grow in a number of different sizes and colors from white to yellow, to orange or green.
