Pacific Rim’s Kumquat Puree is created from kumquats sourced directly from Miyazaki, Japan, which is a region known for its terroir and exceptionally flavored fruits. Utilizing whole fruits with minimal processing, Kumquat Puree is comprised of true, natural flavors and essential oils, and does not contain artificial colorings, flavorings, or preservatives. Kumquats have a floral and citrus-forward aroma and a sweet-tart, tangy flavor mixed with notes of Meyer lemon and tangerine. Kumquat Puree is suitable for use in both sweet and savory applications, including but not limited to beverages, desserts, baked goods, and sauces.
