Description/Taste
Black Nigella Seeds are native to south and southwest Asia. They are also known as black cumin or black caraway. Nigella seeds have a slight crunchy texture and an oregano-like quality with a touch of bitterness and a warm, toasted onion flavor. This is an annual flowering plant that grows 7-11 feet tall with large, cream colored petals. These seeds are tiny and are often used whole as a garnish for breads and curries, and mixed with other seasonings.
