Description/Taste
Sesame leaves are small to medium in size and elongated, tear drop shaped leaves. The bright green leaves grow on an erect green stalk with the larger leaves towards the base of the plant. The leaves have a shiny, slightly smooth texture. Sesame leaves are typically not eaten but used as a wrap to impart a herbaceous, nutty aroma and flavor.
