Description/Taste
Israeli cous cous is also known as "pearl cous cous" in Israel and was first invented in Tel Aviv in the 1950's. This cous cous is comparable to Italian orzo and is classified as a dried pasta made of wheat flour and rosemary extract. Israeli cous cous are large in size, similar to the size of the peppercorn and when cooked has a chewy consistency. Israeli cous cous is often served with meat, vegetables and spices.
