Description/Taste
Celery have elongated, stalks that tape into frilly, flat, deeply lobed green leaves at its top. The outer stalks tend to be fiberous with the inner stalks tender and soft. Stalks are usually harvested when 40-60 centimeters in length. Celery has a juicy and crunchy flesh with a mild salty flavor and earthy undertone. Although celery is most often used for its stalks, its leaves are edible as well and have a concentrated celery-flavor.
