Description/Taste
Purple Plum sunflowers have bicolor petals that are plum to maroon near its center. Each bloom is made up of several hundred petals, all attached to a brown center. Purple Plum sunflowers have a course, fibrous stalk and can grow up 5 meters in height. Its edible petals have a chewy texture and a green vegetal flavor with slight bitterness reminiscent of citrus pith.
