Description/Taste
The pineapple is native to South America and was first discovered by Christopher Columbus on the island of Guadeloupe in 1493. He gave this fruit the name pina de Indes meaning "pine of the Indians." Pineapple tiblets has a juicy sweet flavor and pairs well with seafood, poultry and pork dishes. Since the pineapple is already sliced into small triangles it makes it easy to add to many dessert recipes or enjoyed as a nutritious snack.
