Description/Taste
Black pitted olives are grown in Morocco and are the fruit of the Olea europea tree. Commonly mistaken as a vegetable, Black olives offer a sharp flavor and are cured in salt and sunflower oil. These fully ripe olives are often used in meat and poultry dishes. Canned black pitted olives can also be enjoyed as a snack or paired with a fruit and cheese plate.
