Description/Taste
Bamboo shoots sliced are popular in Asian cuisine, because of their ability to absorb seasoning and flavor. They are cultivated from young bamboo plants, have off-white to yellow color and provide a crispy crunch to many dishes. Best added to stir fries, coconut-based soups, and salads or curry dishes to provide mild flavor and texture.
