Petite® Licorice Basil is small in size, averaging 10-12 centimeters in length, and has elongated, lanceolate-shaped leaves that are connected to short, slender stems. The dark green leaves have a glossy sheen and are splashed with purple hues on the underside. The leaves also taper to a point and have a prominent central vein that branches out into many smaller veins across the surface. The stems are thin and crisp with dark purple and green hues. Petite® Licorice Basil is juicy, tender, and extremely aromatic with an anise flavor mixed with a hint of tarragon, clove, and notes of fresh green spice.
