Description/Taste
Canned apricots are cut into half pieces and preserved in a thick syrup. These apricots are picked at their peak of ripeness and offer a sweet yet tart taste. The Greeks and Romans considered the juice of the apricot as the, "nectar of the gods." Apricot halves can be eaten as a snack, used to top desserts, within baked goods or salads.
