Description/Taste
Fleur de Sel originated in Guérande, France and is also called the “caviar of salt.” Many chefs call this salt the best of all sea salts because of its delicate flavor, which is rich and sweet, moist texture and ease of melting on the palate. Harvesting of this salt only occurs once a year during summer, where the salt harvesters use techniques that date back to the Celtic era.
