Description/Taste
Celery seeds are small with an oval to teardrop shape and bear a rough texture. The seeds measure 1 to 2 millimeters in length and are dark olive green with light brown, defined ridges that vertically extend along the seed's exterior. Celery seeds have a pungent celery aroma with strong grassy, lemony, and herbaceous overtones. The seeds have a bitter, astringent flavor with undertones of citrus and grass, developing a spicy, lingering aftertaste.
