Pumpkin pie spice, which is most commonly used to make pumpkin pie, is a blend of five spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves and ginger. This blend of spices adds a warm and sweet flavor to the pumpkin and can be used in apple pie, cookies, coffee cake, on top of fruit and in other breakfast batters.
