Description/Taste
Dried, crushed up varieties of chili pepper fruit are the main components of chili powder. Chili powder gives a sweet, earthy flavor and is intended to be a dominant flavor within a dish. Other spices such as cumin, oregano and garlic powder are often found in the mix. Chili powder gives great flavor to Spanish rice, barbeque sauce and Mexican style dishes.
