Description/Taste
Onions, which are easily grown worldwide, are often a staple ingredient to any main course or side dish. Grinding and dehydrating very pungent onion bulbs, which then generate a powder that has a very strong odor, produce onion powder. This powder makes it fairly simple to add onion flavor to any dish and becomes slightly sweet when cooked. Add powdered onion to meat, poultry, fish or vegetables.
