Description/Taste
Coriander seeds are small and globular, measuring 5 millimeters in diameter, and have a tan-brown hue with latitudinal ridges spanning across the surface. The seeds have a dry and brittle texture, easily splitting in half when crushed, and once opened, two tiny seeds are revealed within the skin. Coriander seeds have a pleasant aroma that is mildly sweet, citrusy, and herbaceous. The flavor of Coriander seeds is subtly earthy, spicy, and nutty, with a bright, citrusy finish similar to orange peels.
