Kaffir lime leaf powder is an essential ingredient in many Thai dishes and is harvested, dried for several weeks and then made into a powder. Also known as makrut or magrood the Kaffir lime leaf has a strong flavor and aroma unlike any other citrus tree leafs. Also used in non-Thai cuisine it adds enormous flavor to breads, pasta, meats and even liquors.
