J. R. Organics is a family owned and operated farm located in San Diego County. The farm was established in the 1950’s and has been certified organic since 1986. The fertile land of Valley Center, CA combined with sustainable farming practices produces a wide variety of flavorful fruits and vegetables. Arugula is a vibrant green leaf, often with a long, pale green stem. Arugula can be harvested in many stages along the growth curve starting when the leaves are young and mild in flavor until they are fully mature, about three of four inches in length. This green offers an herbaceous, spicy, peppery flavor with tasting notes of mustard.
