Description/Taste
The acai fruit is native to Brazil and is the fruit that grows from the palm, Euterpe oleracea. Commonly known as a "super-fruit," acai is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. The fruit was given this name, because of the deep purple color of the fruit juice.
