Flora Bella Farms is a small, 10-acre farm located in Three Rivers, CA. The farm has been certified organic since 1991 and it uses the fertile river valley soil and snowmelt to grow flavorful fruits and vegetables. Purslane is a clover-like herb that bears small, wedge-shaped, oblong leaves. The dark green leaves are attached to slender, smooth reddish stems. Purslane is crunchy and juicy and is entirely edible. The flavor of raw Purslane is slightly sour and tangy.
