Whole Pimiento pepper have a bright red color, small round shape and are sweet in flavor. Red Pimiento peppers have a mild heat and are also referred to as "cherry peppers." These peppers sweet taste makes them a favorite to stuff or add to various recipes. Canned Pimiento peppers can be stuffed and used as a martini garnish, sliced and added to bread or cheese sauce.
