- The Specialty Produce Experience
As San Diego’s largest food hub and home of the Specialty Produce app,
we provide a unique shopping experience for our guests. We are open 7
days a week from 8am to 5pm and provide a ten-minute tour to each new
customer that introduces them to everything specialty Produce has to
offer.
For groups of 6 or more, we offer a more in-depth experience that introduces guests to the company’s history, our fruit and vegetable museum, warehouse space, sub-brands, and includes a tasting of locally grown fruits and vegetables. This experience is offered 7 days a week from 10am to 3pm (subject to availability). We recommend guests bring a jacket and wear close-toed shoes as your experience will take your through a working warehouse with large walk-in refrigerators.* Please bring a jacket along as it's very cold in our coolers! *
