Description/Taste
Sprites are small brilliant red, oval grape tomatoes with refreshingly sweet flavors. Just like the original grape tomatoes, these have thin skins and are packed with sweet juice.
Seasons/Availability
The Sprite tomato is an early summer season variety that produces fruit continuously all season until first frost.
Applications
Sprite tomatoes are great for salads and pastas. For pasta, cook down the cherry tomatoes just until they burst. Shave some fine cheese over it. They are great for a chunky gazpacho. Poach sprite tomatoes in olive oil on the vine, cut off the vine but leave the stem and finish on fish.
