Geography/History
Purple Ninja radishes were first released to the marketplace in September of 2015. They were created by Babé Farms in the Santa Maria Valley of California. Started by founder Will Souza in 1986 the farm was born by Souza’s travels in Europe, seeing there all the European produce varieties and baby sized vegetables. The Purple Ninja no doubt is a continuation of this inspiration as unique radishes such as this have long been popular in European countries. Distribution wise Purple Ninja radishes can be found when in season throughout the United States as well as parts of Canada and occasionally abroad.
