Cauliflower - Baby - Cultivation
Baby cauliflower is the immature state of regular cauliflower. Baby cauliflower grows best in cool, stable weather in the 60-68-degree range and will not tolerate weather above or below. It needs full sun, rich loamy soil mixed with organic matter, and consistent watering to keep the soil moist. Mulching and fertilizer will also help maintain moisture and cool temperatures within the soil. Cauliflower is grown from seed but is best sprouted indoors and then transplanted 2-4 weeks before the last frost in the spring and 4-6 weeks before the first frost in the fall. Baby cauliflower should be harvested when the heads are tight and approximately ten centimeters across.
