Description/Taste
Mini Crown™ Mache is petite in size, approximately 12 to 15 centimeters in length, and is comprised of 6 to 8 immature tender leaves with hollow and watery stems that converge at a central base. The lime to olive leaves boast an ovate shape and are broad and flat with a bright green color and a pliable, succulent texture. Mini Crown™ Mache is crisp and clean with a distinct nutty flavor.

Applications
Ideal accompaniment for chicken, ham or smoked fish. Toss with flavored oil, melted butter or cream. Sprinkle with a splash of lemon juice or flavored vinegar. Add to sandwiches made with soft cheeses and toasted closed-grained bread. Lay leaves around roasted poultry or veal to soak up succulent juices. Make a lush bed for oysters and cheeses.
