Petite® Tangerine Lace™ is small in size, averaging 7-10 centimeters in length, and has flat feathery leaves with long, thick, and juicy pale green stems. The emerald green leaves are narrow, deeply lobed, and have serrated or toothed edges with the ends slightly curled. The leaves, when attached to the long stems, are often described as appearing similar to the shape of a miniature sized palm frond. Petite® Tangerine Lace™ is crisp and tender with a bright citrus and green herb flavor with notes of mint, tangerine, and orange.

Petite® Tangerine Lace™ greens are best suited for raw applications as their delicate nature cannot withstand high heat preparations. They are most commonly used as an accent that can be served with seafood such as crab cakes or served over poultry and salads. They can also be blended into herb oils, dressed in sauces, served with cream-based pasta, or used as a substitute for mint and placed as a bright, citrus note in desserts such as ice cream, sorbets, cookies, and cakes. Petite® Tangerine Lace™ pairs well with seafood such as shrimp, crab, lobster, scallops, red snapper, halibut, sturgeon, tuna, salmon, and oysters, lamb, radish, apples, strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, and escarole.
