Description/Taste
Asparagus lettuce has many common names including, "Celtuce, WonSun and Chinese lettuce." The Asparagus lettuce has a thick celery-like stalk that then produces long and green lettuce-like leaves. The central stalk of the Asparagus lettuce offers a crisp texture that has a mild flavor reminiscent of celery. The leaves of the Asparagus lettuce have a somewhat astringent flavor with an overall green lettuce taste.
