Persian Cucumbers
Estimated Inventory, lb : 0
Description/Taste
The perfect Persian cucumber measures 4 to 5 inches in length as this is the size when it is at its peak of sweetness. This crunchy, watery cucumber does not develop seeds. If allowed to grow bigger, bitter tasting seeds develop which destroys its sweetness.
Current Facts
Technically cucumbers are a fruit but are treated, eaten and thought of as a vegetable. Cucumbers have an amazing capacity to retain water and to remain cool. The interior flesh may be up to twenty degrees cooler than the exterior rind.
