Polito Family Farms is a family-owned and operated farm in Valley Center, California. The farm was founded in 1968 and is dedicated to using organic and sustainable farming methods to produce tree-ripened citrus, avocados, and figs. Star Ruby grapefruit has bright orange skin and deeply pigmented flesh. The grapefruits are large and heavy, producing a moderate amount of juice and pulp. Polito Family Farms Star Ruby grapefruit has a sweet-tart flavor and a mildly bitter finish.
