Description/Taste
The Taylor Gold pear does not have a typical pear shape, but rather is more round or circular. This pear is a New Zealand variety and is closely related to the Comice pear. The outer skin of the Taylor Gold has an overall gold to brown color with yellow and blush tones peaking through. The inner flesh of the Taylor Gold offers a creamy texture and color. This pear offers a very sweet and rich flavor.

Taylor Gold pears are available from the start of the fall season through the early winter months.
