Description/Taste
Japanese sweet potato has a dark reddish-brown or rose colored outer skin and is known in Japan as "Kotobuki." This sweet potato variety has small eyelets on the outer skin, while the inner flesh is a cream colored white. Offering a slight nutty flavor, the Japanese sweet potato has hints of chestnut and slightly drier than other varieties.
