Pink turnips are classified as members of the Mustard family and as a herbaceous annual. Pink turnips range from 3 to 4 inches in diameter and have a globular shape. The outer skin of the Pink turnip is thin with a bright pink tinged inner flesh. The Pink turnip offers a mildly sweet flavor with light undertones of pepper.
