Description/Taste
The Key lime is a petite lime that is also known as the Mexican and West Indies lime. This lime's outer skin varies from a kelly green to a light yellowish green, is about the size of a golf ball and has very few seeds. The inner flesh of the Key lime is very juicy and offers a unique sweet-tart flavor that distinguishes this lime from other varieties.
Seasons/Availability
Key limes are available in the late summer and throughout the early winter.
