Description/Taste
The Sweet coconut has a round shape that tapers at the top of the nut giving it a conical appearance, which is unique to this variety. Similar to the young coconut, the Sweet coconut has a soft inner flesh that can be easily removed and is spongy. The inner white flesh of the Sweet coconut offers a very sweet tropical flavor.
Seasons/Availability
Sweet coconuts can be found growing year-round in tropical places such as Thailand, the Caribbean and throughout the South Pacific.
