Description/Taste
Kaffir lime has a bright green wrinkled outer skin that has a conical stem at its top. The peel of the Kaffir lime is known for its essential oil content, which gives this lime its fragrant aroma. The juice of the Kaffir lime offers a very tart and sour flavor, that can often be bitter.
