Description/Taste
Japanese turnips are a medium size turnip that is between 2 and 3 inches in diameter and is about the size of a golf ball. Easily recognized by the bright white outer skin, the Japanese turnip has a round shape and a crisp inner flesh. The Japanese turnip offers a sweet and spicy flavor that has slight herbaceous undertones and is similar to the radish.
