Description/Taste
The Passionfruit has an oblong, round to oval shape and can be found growing on perennial vines. Passionfruit reaches the size of a small plum or grapefruit and has a deep red to maroon outer skin color. The inner flesh of the Passionfruit has a jelly-like consistency with black seeds. Passionfruit offers an astringent tropical flavor that is sweet as well as tart.

In Hawaii, its name is banana poka.
