Green kale has deep green, savoyed leaves attached to long green stem. Young Green kale leaves offer a crisp, tender texture. Mature leaves will be fibrous. Green kale offers a flavor similar to Green cabbage with mild sweet undertone while more mature kale will have a hint of bitterness.
